School Leaders

Christine Algozo

Christine Algozo joined Uncommon Charter High School in 2009 as its founding Physics teacher and College Development Coordinator, later moving on to teach Chemistry and to lead the 10th Grade Team.  Prior to the opening of Uncommon Prep, she served as an Instructional Fellow, Dean of Curriculum and Instruction, and Science Instructional Leader. Before joining Uncommon, Ms. Algozo spent seven years teaching middle school Science and high school Chemistry at Bronx Preparatory Charter School where she also served as Science Department Chair. Additionally, Ms. Algozo taught Chemistry at The Hotchkiss School and committed six summers to teaching science at the (MS)2 Program (Math and Science for Minority Students) at Phillips Academy.  Ms. Algozo received a B.A. in Chemistry and English from Mount Holyoke College and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.


Clifford Campbell

Director of Operations
Cliff Campbell is thrilled to join Uncommon Prep Charter High School as the Director of Operations. Mr. Campbell joined the staff of Uncommon Charter High School in 2009 as the founding Theater teacher. He developed the curriculum for Theater I and II and directed after school plays and musicals. He then served as the Alumni Coordinator for the first two graduating classes and tackled various projects for the Uncommon high school community as an Operations Fellow.  After graduating from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Theater and before joining Uncommon, Mr. Campbell worked in New York and regionally as a professional stage actor and as a youth leader for Travel Dynamics International, a company devoted to educational travel. Mr. Campbell holds a M.S.Ed. in Educational Theatre from the City College of New York.
